Honoring Our Hero: Recreating Nezha Through Dice Art
We are Jack and Mike from California, USA, both 12 years old. Since watching the movie "Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child" last year, we have been deeply fascinated by this brave little hero. To express our admiration for Nezha, we decided to create a portrait of him using dice art.

Our Story
We first watched "Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child" during our school's International Film Week. Although we don't understand Chinese, the movie's visuals and music deeply moved us. We especially love Nezha's line "My fate is mine to control, not heaven's," which taught us that even if others don't believe in you, as long as you believe in yourself, you can create miracles.
After watching the movie, we started learning about various stories of Nezha and asked our mom to buy us Nezha toys and T-shirts. We even gave a presentation about Chinese mythology in our history class, introducing Nezha to our classmates.
The Creative Process
We chose dice art to portray Nezha because we wanted a unique and lasting way to honor him. Each die represents our respect for Nezha, and when combined, they form his iconic image.
Creating this dice art portrait took us two full weeks. The most challenging part was Nezha's expression and hair - we spent an entire day adjusting them until he looked both brave and mischievous, just like in the movie.
Our Reflections
Completing this dice art portrait filled us with immense pride. It's not just a piece of art, but our tribute to the spirit of Nezha. Every time we look at it, we're reminded of Nezha's courage and determination.
We hope that by sharing this dice art creation, more people will come to know and love the character of Nezha. A hero doesn't need superpowers - what matters most is having a brave heart.
If Nezha's story has touched you too, or if you have your own hero story to share, please feel free to contact us. Let's use art to pay tribute to the heroes in our lives!
